Funeral Details

I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER BAN TRAN'S KINDNESS AND WARMTH.. ESPECIALLY, WHEN I HAD A CHANCE TO BE WITH HIM TOGETHER. I WILL NEVER FORGET WHEN I GAVE HIM A RIDE TOGETHER TO COSTCO TO HAVE A HOTDOG WITH A GLASS OF SOFT DRINK AFTER THAT WE WALKED TO THE CAR IN THE PARKING LOT AND SUDDENLY HE FELL DOWN BECAUSE OF A STROKE AND I HAD TO CALL 911- EMERGENCY AND AN AMBULANCE CAME TO CARRY HIM TO A HOSPITAL TO RESCUE HIM . THIS INCIDENT HAPPEN A FEW MONTHS AGO.. NOW HE DECEASED. MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY WITH HIS FAMILY DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME.
I WISH HIS SOUL WILL GO TO THE HEAVEN WITH BUDDHA.

Ban and I met under odd circumstances, He was riding by my house a few years ago on his bike while admiring the garden, when I just had stepped outside. We had a nice chat and he had asked me for a few plants that I had left over. I was happy to give him some vegetable starts as he said it was for his wife Qynn. Little did I know that later in our relationship I was to get myself in a bit of a pickle with Qynn. I was giving away a ton of materials and garden "stuff" one day when Ban was riding by my house. He said he would take it all but he needed me to load it in my truck and drop it off at his house. I asked him if it was ok with Qynn, and he said "yes". Well, I backed into the driveway and started unloading when Qynn came running out from her garden. I didn't understand what she was saying to Ban, but I got the sensation right away that Ban had not cleared the material drop off with her. I quickly reloaded my truck and came back home. Later on, Qynn and I revisited that story and laughed about it. Ban always had something going on. Always planning something or wanting to start a project. He was so kind to my wife and I, often riding by and inviting us to Costco for a meal. We did go with him for lunch one day, with all of us riding our bikes there together. We had a great time with good conversation. Ban talked about his job as an architect, his life, and his family. There were times when he just saw me working outside in my garden and, on his way back from Costco, just brought back a chocolate ice cream for my wife. He knew she liked chocolate. He was like that. I have dedicated a single loan Sunflower in my garden in memory of Ban. It stands in the center of a group of Milkweed, over 7 feet tall tall, observing everything else in my garden. Just like Ban did when he walked through. We will miss him. Our best to the family. We wish you comfort and peace at this time.
