Funeral Details

Steven Michael Cedre age 66. Steve left us in his sleep on March 2, 2025. Our hearts are broken but our hurt is softened knowing the impact he has had on his many friends lives. Steve was born on December 2, 1958. He was a loving brother and son, as well as a caring and kind friend to many. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Lois and Frank Cedre and his sister Linda Kelley. He is survived by his sisters, Anita Wilson (Al), Kathy Pabis (John), and Jennifer Cedre. His nephews are Andrew Montenara and JJ. His nieces are Jessica Ayers, Andrea Rusak (Rob) and Sarah Lewis (Dale). Now Steven rests with the Lord and in the loving arms of his Father, Mom and Sister. Steve was proud to show his friends pictures of his beloved grandnieces (Olivia Lewis, Stella Rusak) and grandnephew (Benjamin Lewis). His family's dogs were the beneficiary of his love. Only the best treats for them! His friends...were his extended family and through all his stories and pictures it was very evident that he treasured them dearly. Visitation Sunday, March 9, 2025 from 1pm until 5:00pm with a service at 4pm at Midtown Funeral Home, 3918 W. Irving Park Road, Chicago.
