Passed away on March 19,2025 at Illinois Masonic. Visitation Wednesday, March 26,2025 from 8:30am until 10:00am at Midtown Funeral Home and Cremation Options, 3918 West Irving Park Road, Chicago. Mass 10:30am Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. Interment private. For information: Cooney Funeral Home 847.685.1002.

When we would visit, he would be sitting on the rocking chair. He would always say, oh boy, here comes David and his girls. I would always laugh. He was funny that way. I would always make sure I kissed his forehead. He said he appreciated it and loved those everytime. He was witty and strong. Very sarcastic! He might of not been my girls grandfather but he didn’t have a problem with them calling him grandpa. So I did appreciate that from him. He was all that my girls knew in the beginning. So at his end I want to remember him being a smart butt. He was a fighter for many years. I know that he is in a better place. No more pain or sorrow. You are finally FREE! Love you always David and his girls, Esmeralda, Weronika, Novalei and Rossalynn
