OBITUARY
Josefina Ochoa (alias Pina), born May 11, 1954 in Jalisco, Mexico and died May 14, 2023 in Chicago. Deeply loved wife for 48 years to her surviving husband, Manuel and loving mother of her children, Lucia, Tyana, Cecilia and Manny Ochoa. Wonderful grandmother to Daniel, Isabel, Naomi and Sofia. She is also survived by her brother and sister, Guadalupe Nuñez and Ofelia Nuñez.
Pina loved all Tim Burton films, collecting dolls and had a gift for keeping gorgeous plants and flowers thriving. She always said that flowers were God’s kisses here on earth.
She came to Chicago in 1978 and said she loved living in this city and enjoyed the beautiful parks and spending days at Lake Michigan having cookouts with her family. She will be deeply missed by her family who is beyond thankful for all she did for them throughout her life.
