To Judy & her loved ones near and far,

My name is Nicole, I am a hospice volunteer who was so very lucky enough to be connected with Judy in these last few months of her life. It was a great joy to bond with her, hear stories about her life and learn about her musical favorites - stories of concerts she saw, songs she loved to dance to like "Old Time Rock & Roll." I would always say Judy James, Born on the Fourth of July! My very favorite moment in our friendship was finding out she was a hippie from way back, as they say. Those caretakers that I interacted with at Harmony loved Judy, too - she reached us by being her genuine self, sharp and funny and open and kind.

I truly loved spending time with Judy - a kindred spirit and a cool customer as I always called her. She always met me with a smile, lots of jokes and smirks. She loved to hear stories about my dad, another kindred with her, and my dog, Maybellene - our rock and roll mascot! I will miss her and remember her so very fondly and lovingly as my friend.

Blessings to all who grieve her passing and true gratitude for the time together.

With love,
Nicole Faust
