Today, we gather with heavy hearts to say goodbye to a man who was a husband, father, and an important part of the family. His passing has left a deep emptiness that words cannot fully express. We will miss his presence, his words, his kindness, and the memories we shared with him.
To my dear Mum, I pray that God will strengthen you and give you the grace to walk through this difficult season. May the love and memories you shared with your husband bring you comfort whenever you feel the pain of his absence. Though we cannot understand everything that has happened, we trust God to carry us through.
May his life and the memories he left behind continue to speak for him. May God grant him eternal rest and give the entire family the strength, peace, and comfort we need. We will remember him with love, and we will continue to hold his memories in our hearts. Rest peacefully.”

I have known Mr Andrew for fifth years now, we were colleagues and he was my Boss, though different department. He was a very nice man, he was humble and very friendly, we became very close as a family. He was ready to give himself to satisfy everyone. A man with good heart. In Loving Memory of Andrew Tiene

This news came as a rude shock, and it is difficult to find the right words to express the sadness in my heart.

Andrew was not just a former colleague; he was a friend and a brother. A gentle soul who would not hurt a fly. He was soft-spoken, calm, smart, and exceptionally intelligent. His quiet nature, kindness, and humility left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Grateful for the memories, the conversations, the laughter, and the privilege of having shared part of life’s journey with him.

Andrew, you will be deeply missed. Your gentle spirit and the person you were will remain in our hearts.

May God comfort your family, , and everyone mourning this great loss. May He grant them the strength and grace to bear this painful separation.

Rest peacefully, dear friend and brother, Andrew Tiene.
You came, you touched lives, and you will not be forgotten. 🕊️💔

Tribute to Andrew Tiene: Brother, Friend, and Trusted Colleague.

It is with a heavy heart, yet a profound sense of gratitude to God, that I pen this tribute to a remarkable human being, Andrew Tiene. To many in the corporate world, he was a consummate professional, a sharp strategist, and a dedicated leader. But to me, through the years we navigated the demanding tides of the technology industry together, Andrew was far more than a colleague or a member of my executive team—he was a trusted brother and a loyal friend.

Andrew's footprints on our professional journey and in our hearts cannot be erased. He lived a life of impact, dignity, and quiet strength. While the void he leaves behind is immense, the memories of his kindness, his professional integrity, and the warmth of his brotherhood will remain with us forever.

Rest in peace, my dear brother and friend. You have fought a good fight and left your mark on the sands of time.

Andrew Tiene,

You taught me that impact doesn’t need volume. You were selfless, incredibly intelligent, and had a mind for numbers that I still admire.

Those Monday conversations about Arsenal, that quiet smile that lit up rooms, the way you carried yourself with honour and reverence for God... I’m still in shock.

We even had that little joke about adding an E to your surname to get my first name. I’ll carry that memory.

Thank you for who you were. You will be missed more than words can say.

My Dear friend Andrew. Your passing came as a shock to me. I really try to wrap my head around the fact that you are no more. I recall when you used to come pick me up to work every morning back then; we also closed, and you dropped me off. We had to wait for you to drop Samuel and David off at school near Sabo in Yaba. You were a very patient, caring, thoughtful, lovable, and extremely loyal person. You rarely got angry despite the many pressures and challenges you were facing at that stage in your life. You loved your wife dearly and did all you could to make things easier for her, so much that people even said that your wife was controlling you; it never bothered you. Samuel and David were the center of your world; you were ready to move mountains for them. As a colleague and a worker, you demonstrated humility and a strong commitment to your job. I believe you even got a few awards to show for that. I was close to Coscharis on Adeola Odeku some months ago, and I wanted to say hi, but I couldn't find a place to park, and your number wasn't connecting, so I left, hoping to check on you at a better time. I was around UNILAG some time ago and was wondering how you were coping with the massive road construction around Berikisu Iyede, your beloved street. I never knew you had moved abroad. Now I know I can't see you again in this realm. You were always a big brother to Tunrayo and me. We shared lots of fun times. Someone reminded me how I used to scramble out of my house with my shoes in my hand when you came to pick me up, and how I would complete my dressing in your car. Andrew, you were an angel. You spread calm and happiness wherever you went. Everyone in the Zinox group is shocked. You loved Arsenal, and I am happy you saw them finally lift the Premier League before your passing. I remember when we had an MD who was a MAN United fan; you were an Arsenal fan. You guys were constantly clashing. There were games that you prayed Arsenal would lose and Man U would win just so the next 7 days would be tolerable for you. You loved God, and you were a very prayerful person. You were never the loud, overbearing type; you were always very prayerful, and you did that in your corner. I commiserate with your wife, Samuel and David, your extended family, your friends, and well-wishers. I commiserate with Tunrayo; we were a trio for many years. I know you are in a better place, my dear friend and brother. I know you are with God. Your time has come to rest, my brother. Rest well. Inna Lillahi wainna Ilehi Rajiuun.

Dear Mr. Andrew,

It is with a heavy heart and great shock I received the news of your demise yesterday. I went through the memory lane to reflect on the time we both shared together as colleagues, all I could see is your simplicity and professionalism in the way you discharged your duties, you had a good listening ears. You made it so easy by putting face to what the cooperate world call Management in the way you dispense kindness and love. I consider myself so privilege working with you as I drawn from the stream of wisdom on how you handled official matter that touches life.

May good God reward your good work, comfort you wife and children. May He grant us all the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and fill the big gap you left behind.

It's rather unfortunate. Mr Andrew was a very humble person. I could remember when I first joined Coscharis technologies where we worked together. He gave me so much support and advice. We shared a lot of arguments when it came to politics nor football.very jovial. I thought all was well when I heard he had moved to the states because I knew he will be more taken care of medically. Am very shocked and surprised at his demise. God knows best. May his soul rest in peace and I know he will be with his maker. I wish the family the fortitude to bear this great loss. Please take heart.

On behalf of the Grillos, here’s conveying our heartfelt condolences to the Tiene household.

Peter and Isaac, were closer childhood family friends/ neighbors, while Brother Andrew is remembered as the meek, soft-spoken and protective big brother, always with a supportive one-liner of advise/encouragement, whenever our paths crossed, along the walk ways of the Yaba College of Technology Staff Quarters.

May the hearts of those he left behind, be given the Divine Fortitude, to hear the heavy loss.. Ameen

Where do i start & how do i start? I remember the good old days when we grew up together, played football, went to school & to church together. You were a fine footballer only you were not able to follow the line of sports. When you became a Victoria. Island person working at Coscharis, you made me felf very special anytime i checked you in the office. You always made every one around you felt happy. I remember the several times you calmed my wife down during challenging times with encouraging words. The day i got news of the stroke attack, i locked myself praying for hours in the church. In fact, i felt the world was coming to an end. There was a wedding held on the 15-8-26 where many of our Old Yaba G. R. A residents were suppose to attend. But the moment the news of your passage to glory broke out, about 70 percent of members could not attend the wedding ceremony. It was a confirmation of you were & what you represented. Andrew, for me & my house hold, we shall surely miss you. We love you but God loves you more. God is the giver and the taker. My brother, Rest in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ till we meet to part no more. Rest in peace. Timothy & Busola. Tiene

I thank God for the privilege of having our paths cross. I will always remember how your face would light up with that big smile whenever I walked over to your desk.
