OBITUARY
Angelina E. Rejuso, age 98, passed away peacefully at First Community Hospital Chicago, Illinois on September 13, 2023. She was born August 8, 1925, in Masbate, Philippines to Pilar Delavin Esparrago and Victorino Esparrago. Angelina is survived by her sisters Elsa Mendoza and Ana Almojuela. She was the beloved mother of Concha (deceased), Ernesto (deceased)(Loida), Arturo (Ligaya), Antonio (deceased) (Elsie), Josefino (deceased), Jewelyn (Rudy), Noemi (deceased)(Danny)(deceased), Ned, Rafael (Shirley), Albert (Analyn), Nennettee and Ismael (Darlie). Proud grandmother of Mirriam, MaryJane, Eric, Anthony, Jasmin, Alex, Zander, Marivil, Maricar, Joshua, Janelle, Sherwin, Shane, RR, Althea, Alyssa, Jeremiah and James; plus 21 great-grandchildren and her many nephews and nieces. All of these she loved and touched deeply. Predeceased by her devoted husband Adonis Tormo Rejuso, sisters Editha, Estelita and Juliana brothers Olimpio, Vito, Juan and Ely. Angelina lived a full life as a wonderful mother, homemaker and highly skilled seamstress and master cutter at export/import company in the Philippines. She worked with passion. She migrated to USA Sept 1988. Acquired her driver's license here in the USA at the age of 68. Work as a bagger at Dominic grocery store and caregiver for 20 years. Her life is a living example of Bible verse Proverbs 31:17-18. She is a hard worker, strong and industrious. She knows the value of everything she makes and works late into the night. A visitation will be held 2pm - 9pm, Friday, September 22 at Midtown Funeral Home, 3918 W. Irving Park Road Chicago, IL 60618. Funeral Mass will be held 10:30am, Saturday, September 23 at St. Pascal Church, 3935 N. Melvina Avenue Chicago, IL 60634. Interment will be at All Saints Cemetery following the funeral mass, 700 N.
