OBITUARY

Brunilda Batista, 75, born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico and late of Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2026. Born on May 4, 1951, she was a devoted partner, mother, and grandmother whose love for her family was the center of her life.

She is survived by her loving partner of 59 years, Angel; her children, Anita, Emilio (Elena) and Arthur(Charissa); and her cherished grandchildren, Karina, Benjamin, and Theodore.

Brunilda loved cooking, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren, to whom she was a deeply dedicated grandmother. She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared so freely with her family and all who knew her.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Padre Pio Church,5601 N. California Ave, Chicago, IL 60659.
