OBITUARY

Tammy Marie Walters (Benmahfoudh), was 56 years old and passed away unexpectedly on April 23, 2025. Tammy was a loving mother to four wonderful children. In 1989, she had Christopher J. Keith followed by Brandon Bernard Walters in 1992, in 1993 Paul D. Blankenship was born followed by her only daughter Amber L. Deeter in 1999.

Tammy was born on May 24, 1968, to Dorothy Justus and James Walters in Chicago, IL. Tammy attended Senn High School and graduated from Atterbury Job Corp in 1991. Tammy completed Child Welfare Training to be able to adopt her niece Nicole Justus and keep her apart of the family.

Tammy’s favorite passions included cooking, bartending, dancing, singing, spending time with her friends, kids, grandkids and family. Tammy also enjoyed going to the beach. Tammy was extremely talented when it came to her own creations. Tammy overall had a heart of gold which she extended immensely to the ones she cared for and made a continuous effort to show her love and appreciation. Tammy was always there to help someone in need even if it was her last.
Tammy is predeceased by her Mother Dorothy aka (Peggy) Justus, her baby sister Donna Justus and her dog Snowball. She is survived by her younger sisters Sandra Justus and Robin Justus. Also her sister Lisa Miller and her brother Bill Miller. Her children Christopher Keith, Brandon Walters, Paul Blankenship and her baby girl Amber Deeter. Her grandkids Christopher Keith Jr., Jocelinne Keith, Joseph Keith, Jayla Keith, Noah Walters, Nayeli Walters and Amiya Walters. Her Nieces and nephews Cassie Elkins, Ashley Justus, Brittney Villano, Nicole Justus, Joshua Justus, Johnathan Justus, little Sandra, Jasmine Justus and Lance Jr. And of course, many more.

Tammy had a lot of people that cared for her and loved her. Tammy will be deeply missed and never forgotten. Her memory shall live on forever through her kids, grandkids, family and friends.

I don't understand why or really how this is happening I never thought I would lose you this soon.
I will forever cherish our time together and hold you close to my heart ❤️ I miss you so much.
We didn't always see eye to eye 👀 but I know you always had my back no matter what.
I'm going to miss your video calls just sitting there watching each other and not saying a word at times.
And all the times we would get together.

I know we haven't seen eye to eye in so.e time but it never ment that i didn't love you you were my big sister and i only wish could of been different with us i think about you all the time and only wish we could turn back time growing up i can remember allot of good times so that is what i will hold on to and i will always love ..miss and wish things could of been different rest in peace and always know i do love you my big sis
