OBITUARY
Stephen Michael Thigpen passed away Wednesday evening, May 7th. He was 65 years of age.
Stephen was preceded in death by his beloved wife Norma (Norris). Steve and Norma shared a thirty year relationship. They loved family, entertaining with friends, and getting away together to explore new places.
Steve will be remembered by his friends for his love of the game of pool, cooking out, fine clothes, straight talk, and his Mercedes which he kept in pristine condition to honor his late wife.
He was a blond haired Florida boy from humble beginnings who from a young age learned to make a way for himself in Chicago. He will be missed. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025 3:00pm until 4:30pm at Midtown Funeral Home and Cremation Options, 3918 W. Irving Park Road, Chicago.
