Con profundo dolor, la familia Rivas anuncia el fallecimiento de Yolanda Rivas, quien partió a los brazos del Señor el 11 de noviembre de 2025, a la edad de 72 años.
Yolanda nació el 14 de marzo de 1953 en Durango, México, donde creció rodeada del amor de su familia.
Fue esposa del difunto Luis B. Rivas, y una madre amorosa de Luis, Elías y Braulio. También fue una abuelita dedicada a Christian y Mariah, quienes fueron una de las mayores alegrías de su vida. Yolanda fue además hermana de Hortencia, Pablo y Bertha, y una tía querida, que amó a sus sobrinos como si fueran sus propios hijos.
Yolanda será recordada por su fuerte fe en Jesucristo, su voluntad inquebrantable, su corazón generoso y su espíritu bondadoso. Tenía un talento especial para las manualidades, el arte y la creatividad, dejando huellas de belleza y amor en todo lo que hacía.
Su vida fue un testimonio de esfuerzo, fe y amor familiar. Aunque su partida deja un profundo vacío, su luz y su ejemplo permanecerán para siempre en quienes tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla.

With deep love and heavy hearts, we share the passing of Yolanda Rivas, who left us peacefully on November 11, 2025, in Chicago, Illinois, at the age of 72.
Born in Durango, Mexico, Yolanda carried her heritage proudly throughout her life. She was a woman of strength, faith, and immense creativity. Her passion for her family and her religion guided everything she did. A gifted artist and an exceptional cook, she shared her talents generously - whether through her delicious meals, her beautiful crafts, or her ability to make everyone feel welcome and loved.
Yolanda was the devoted wife of the late Luis B. Rivas, and a loving mother to Luis, Braulio, and Elías. She was a proud grandmother to Christian and Mariah, who brought her endless joy. She is also survived by her siblings Hortencia, Bertha, and Pablo, and was a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews who she loved as her own
Those who knew Yolanda will remember her as strong-willed, determined, and always teaching by example. She had a gift for nurturing others—whether through her wisdom, her laughter, or her kindness. Her love will remain in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
