Funeral Details

Ruben Morales age 81, passed away on June 6, 2025. He was born in Guatemala on October 26, 1943. Ruben served in Guatemala’s military and he was a retired police officer.
Moved to Chicago in 1979 with his wife Martha seeking to provide security and to pave a path for his family wellbeing.

He was a dedicated father, who always prioritized the family’s best interests. He was know for his generous spirit and always putting other’s needs before his. He was a true friend who offered a listening ear and a helping hand to anyone in need. Integrity, compassion and kindness were his virtues but above all the love for his family.

He leaves behind his son Darwin, his daughter Neily and his son Byron, his daughter-in-law Cindy, his son-in-law Al. Grandfather to Alejandro, Alec, Yulia, Byron Jr., Helen, Donnelly and Leslie; his brother Ramiro and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rubén Morales, de 81 años, falleció el 6 de junio de 2025. Nació en Guatemala el 26 de octubre de 1943. Rubén sirvió en el ejército de Guatemala y era un oficial de policía retirado.

Se mudó a Chicago en 1979 con su esposa Martha buscando proporcionar seguridad y allanar un camino para el bienestar de su familia.

Era un padre dedicado, que siempre priorizaba los mejores intereses de la familia. Era conocido por su espíritu generoso y por poner siempre las necesidades de los demás antes que las suyas. Era un verdadero amigo que ofrecía un oído atento y una mano amiga a cualquiera que estuviera necesitado. Integridad, compasión y amabilidad eran sus virtudes, pero sobre todo el amor por su familia.

Deja atrás a su hijo Darwin, a su hija Neily y a su hijo Byron, a su nuera Cindy, a su yerno Al. Abuelo de Alejandro, Alec, Yulia, Byron Jr., Helen, Donnelly y Leslie; su hermano Ramiro y numerosas sobrinas y sobrinos.
